Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Laptop Review

Asus’ ROG Zephyrus line was designed to be a premium range that caters to both gamers and workers who wanted an ultraportable laptop that can do it all – a unicorn laptop. CONTRIBUTED REVIEW The gaming notebooks of yesteryear were thick, noisy, heavy, expensive breadbaskets that were only technically regarded as portable. The good news is that the modern equivalent is a whole different beast. It’s typified by MSI’s GE75 Raider which offers top-end, gaming-friendly components in a 17-inch chassis that, at less-than 3cm thickness, most certainly can be regarded as a portable PC.

SPONSORED REVIEW MSI’s GS75 Stealth laptop is a special beast, and MSI knows it. Eschewing the familiar black and red livery for diamond-cut, gold edging, dragon logo and hinge details, the GS75 looks simultaneously luxurious and sophisticated.

CONTRIBUTED REVIEW In the universe of MSI laptops, the ‘Gaming Legend’ GL65 Leopard series is one of the most attractive to those who desire uncompromising gaming (and media creation) performance while on the move. It’s a 15.6-inch notebook but squeezed into a body you’d associate with a 14-inch unit; measuring just 357 x 248 x 28mm and weighing only 2.3KG.

Hands on with MSI’s new gaming laptops

Computex gave us the opportunity to get hands on with two of MSI’s new gaming laptops: the all-rounder GE65 Raider which offers plenty of portable power and the beastly GT76 Titan which eschews portability in favour of even more power. Their predecessors have been particular favourites of ours in recent years so we were looking forward to seeing what the latest iterations brought with them.

No matter if you’re an FPS or MOBA kind of player, global computer manufacturer ASUS has you covered with the announcement of its new ROG Strix Hero II and ROG Strix Scar II high-end gaming laptops.
